We firmly believe that naturism is not about undress but rather a state of mind, devoid of sexual connotations.
Acquired by Harry and Shelley in 2002, Eagles View was envisioned solely as a naturist retreat accommodation venue due to the privacy and seclusion of the 57-acre property. Recognizing the potential, we transformed this bushy plateau into a council-approved naturist retreat. Every aspect of Eagles View, from the cozy sofas in our communal area to the design of the bush kitchen, has been meticulously curated to reflect our vision of an ideal naturist retreat for our guests. In our downtime, we enjoy exploring other naturist retreats with our own van, adding to our love for this lifestyle.
Guided by our naturist philosophy, we meticulously designed Eagles View based on our preferences, creating a haven for naturists. Our goal was to offer camping sites quality, self-contained cabin/chalet accommodations tailored to the naturist lifestyle.
As a retreat designed for adults seeking a respite from family life, we regretfully cannot accommodate children or grandchildren.(see policy page)
Eagles View offers a tranquil and serene escape, free from any traffic noise. Here, we don't organize games; instead, we encourage a daily 5 PM happy hour for those interested—although participation is entirely optional. Our focus is solely on relaxation and rejuvenation.
We prioritize a peaceful ambiance by strictly limiting our guest capacity. Once we're fully booked, we're at capacity—our cabins cater exclusively to couples, and camping spaces are exceptionally limited. This intimate setting, coupled with our restricted numbers, makes Eagles View an ideal haven for first-time naturists.
Our locked gate policy ensures that only fellow naturists arrive, eliminating drive-bys or unwanted voyeurs—promising a secure and comfortable environment for all our guests.
Over the years, we've observed and often shared with our textile friends the sense of fulfillment and satisfaction within our naturist community. Perhaps it's because, in embracing naturism, individuals shed any sense of concealment. Yet, it's important to note that while naturists enjoy this openness, privacy remains valued among us.
Naturism isn't about exhibitionism; rather, it's built on a foundation of trust and camaraderie within the community. We've witnessed numerous friendships bloom among our guests, a common occurrence in naturist venues.
It's true—naturists come in all shapes and sizes. Here, you will hardly find individuals resembling Arnie or Elle; instead, you'll encounter a diverse array of people from various professions and backgrounds. From cleaners to pilots, farmers to lawyers, our guests represent a broad spectrum of occupations. The naturist lifestyle serves as a great equalizer, transcending pretense and egos, leaving behind only genuine connections.
Perched on a tranquil plateau along the Great Dividing Range, just 21 km from Toowoomba and 35 km from Gatton, our weather temperatures align with Gatton's climate. Eagles View boasts a picturesque setting.
Our retreat enjoys abundant sunshine with a sheltered north-easterly aspect. Embraced by the natural beauty of surrounding valleys on two sides, the retreat is enveloped by pristine Australian bushland on the others.
