New Years Eve 2008    

Magic witches & warlock was the theme for our party this year. The weather was beautiful the food was great with everyone contributing with a dish. We fired up our camp ovens, the spit & even the webber. The bush kitchen  got a makeover  for the party & was decked out as a witches den complete with a smoldering cauldron.

A vote was taken for the best dressed Rolfe & Nellie won this category.

Cole-Lee  who was unrecognizable as a witch won the runners up prize.

Harry won the vote for the most original . Thinking outside the square he was painted from head to toe as a famous  the American Basketball player Magic Johnson, 

For the first time we stretch our numbers overnight for the party & we had a few extras. It all went off so well  though thanks to the great crowd.

Ideas were thrown around & it was decided that New Years  Eve 2009 party will be a cartoon & comic book character.

COMING EVENTS

Australia Day Weekend 

Monday 26th  January Australia Day, come & enjoy  a free BBQ,  followed by our annual petanque competition. Winning couple will enjoy a weekend for 2 in our self contained cabin. Previous experience in the game of petanque not required. There are so enough  rocks here to make it anyone's game. Last years winning couple  Brian & Minnie had never played before Australia Day last year.
